Nissin Chili Noodles sound like the perfect noodle for me. First I love a good amount of spiciness. I love new textures to food and these noodles promised chili not just in the seasoning but in the noodles themselves. I’ve had a lot of disappointment from Nissin so the approach to these noodles was cautious like a rabbit nibbling a carrot in a trap. Will the Ramen Ruler get snared?
Continue reading “Nissin Chili Noodles”When I saw that the noodles in Nissin Chili Noodles Tom Yum Shrimp Soup were actually made with chili peppers and then flavored with Tum Yum I couldn’t wait to dig in. Nissin has a presence in a lot of countries and Thailand is no exception. I can’t wait to try these chili noodles out!
Nissin did a better job of delivering what they advertised in this package. Nissin Korean Hot Spicy Soup is actually spicy but the flavor confuses me. The packaging is red with Korean soup in a black stone bowl. The soup inside the bowl is kimchi laden and you can see chilies sliced on the top of the soup.
I was pretty excited to crack this bag open to discover a new ramen. The Nissin Korean Hot Chili Chicken title led me to believe this was Nissin’s attempt to tap into the Samyang hot chicken ramen market. Nongshim and a few other brands have released their versions of this and I guess it was mostly my imagination jumping to conclusions. On with the review….
