New Bokki and another Ottogi bokki ramen to review for my faithful followers. The candidate for the day is Ottogi Jjajang Bokki Noodles! The ramen revolution has begun and the momentum we build forging a future of ramen dominance is at hand. Lend me your ears and appetites so that we can quell the unknowing masses about the greatness that is RAMEN.
I was at the store and saw this Ottogi Ramen Bokki staring at me and I mistakenly thought that it was a version of ttoekbokki. Apparently bokki means stir fry though and this was not the case. I was a bit disappointed at this but was happy to find that the flavor for these is very similar to my favorite chewy Korean street food ttoekbokki.
Maruchan Menzukuri Tonkotsu Pork hails from Japan and is produced by Toyo Suisan. This cup beckoned me and here we are. The packaging says it has 347 kcals and it looked like a pretty plain noodle bowl. The contents thankfully surprised me and changed my opinion. Don’t judge a book by its cover or a ramen by its wrapper, eh?
