Yum Yum Boat Noodles Nam Tok Flavored ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือ

Yum Yum Boat Noodles Nam Tok Flavored ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือ ramen beckoned to me from the sacred aisle of the grocery. Years ago I had my first boat noodles in Thailand along a canal. The rich taste cemented to my memory and taste buds for eternity. These strong flavored noodles hardly needed seasoning as they are already served so strongly flavored tasting that only a few individuals would dream of adding seasoning.

Itsuki Kumamoto Red Hot Spicy Ramen

I’ve had this package of Kumamoto Red Hot Spicy Ramen on my review queue for a while now and have been looking forward to eating them. I love a good bowl of authentic Japanese ramen and as these were a little higher on the cost scale I thought perhaps they might be a slice of Japanese authentic ramen. They are of the long noodle variety which is more common in Japan, so the hope was building.

Mama Spicy Basil Stir-Fried Noodles

Mama Spicy Basil Stir-Fried Noodles are Mama’s take on a classic Thai meal. If I were to pick a dish that practically all Thai people eat and that is as common as the hamburger for the US it would have to be Stir-fried Basil in all it’s variations. This dish is eaten with rice more commonly but stir-fried in noodles is available in nearly every food court in the country. I’ve experienced this dish in Thailand so many times that I’ve lost count long ago and I’ll share with you what I think of Mama’s version of this dish.

Paldo Teumsae Ramyun

Paldo Teumsae Ramyun has been rated as one of the Top 10 Spiciest Ramens for two years by The Ramen Rater. I’ve certainly eaten a lot of ramen in my life and I disagree with Hans. I’ll not even try to compare myself with the venerable Ramen Rater but I think several of his spiciest ramens are not worthy of the top ten list. Once I’ve eaten the ones I think should go there I’ll make a list like his but for now, I’ll just let you know about this fine piece of ramen cuisine.

Ruski Beef Flavored Noodles

Ruski Beef Flavored Noodles are produced by Thai President Foods (Mama) in Thailand. Looking into their site it looks like that division primarily manufactures Halal food. I was interested as Mama is leading company in Thailand for noodles and Mama has become synonymous with noodles in Thailand. It’s similar to Hoover becoming synonymous for vacuum in the UK or Q-Tip being used interchangeably with cotton swab in the US.

Ottogi Spicy Rice Cake Tteokbokki Noodles

When I saw Ottogi Spicy Rice Cake Tteokbokki Noodles it reminded me of the time I lived in Korea for a while and when I went back a couple years ago. The food I had while Iwas back was just like I remembered it from having lived there. I loved tteokbokki and have not had the best experiences finding it outside Korea, at least not good tteokbokki. So I was a little skeptical about this being very good. What a fantastic surprise to find I was wrong…..
