Colombia is one of the larger Latin American instant-noodle markets. Maggi (Nestlé) is the dominant brand, with a Colombian-specific Pollo (chicken) flavour being the category's best-seller. Quala — a Colombian food-products company based in Bogotá — operates the local brand Ricostilla in the premium segment.
Ramen (the Spanish-language brand, written the same as the genre) is a smaller Colombian local brand with regional distribution. Asian imports via Panama and the US remain limited compared to Mexico or Brazil.
Colombian instant-noodle consumption is centred on Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali, and the category has grown steadily alongside rising middle-class disposable income through the 2010s and 2020s.
