Bangladesh is a large, rapidly-growing instant-noodle market built around Maggi — Nestlé Bangladesh introduced the brand in 1993 and has maintained approximately 80% market share. Maggi 2-Minute Noodles is the flagship, with Masala, Chicken, and Atta variants tailored to Bangladeshi tastes.
Local manufacturers include Ifad Foods (Ifad Eggy Noodles) and Cocola, which collectively hold the secondary share. Pran Foods distributes its own Pran Noodles line with South Asian chicken and beef flavour profiles.
Bangladeshi instant-noodle consumption has been growing faster than almost any other national market in the 2010s-2020s, driven by urbanisation, rising middle-class disposable income, and student demand. Dhaka and Chittagong together account for the bulk of volume.
