Vite Ramen

Vite Ramen is a California-based startup co-founded in 2018 by twin brothers Tim and Tom Zheng — both trained in clinical nutrition, and both with prior Michelin-starred-restaurant culinary experience. The pitch is "nutritionally complete" instant ramen: a single pack delivers 27g of protein, 4g of fibre, and roughly 25% daily value for a broad panel of vitamins and minerals, while carrying 575mg of sodium (versus approximately 1,560mg in a Top Ramen chicken pack).

The Kickstarter campaign ran April–May 2018 and raised US$249,087 against a $10,000 goal. The product's nutrition arithmetic works via a proprietary Noodtrient vitamin-and-mineral spice pouch plus an omega-3-rich oil packet layered onto a wheat-flour / vital-wheat-gluten / quinoa noodle base. Launch flavours included Chicken, Garlic Pork, and Vegan Mushroom; later releases added Beef and spicy collaborations (including a Fly By Jing chilli crisp edition).

Vite sits in a distinctly modern corner of the instant-noodle aisle — premium-priced, nutrition-led, direct-to-consumer, and positioned as a meal rather than a snack. It is one of the few instant ramen brands built from the ground up for consumers tracking macronutrients rather than chasing the lowest per-pack cost.
